What to Expect

  • Initial Call / Site Visit

We start with a quick call - or you can fill out our site visit request form below - to understand your goals, timeline, and any must-haves. Then we schedule a site visit to look at existing conditions, access, utilities, and any obvious constraints that could impact cost or schedule. If it’s a remodel, we’ll also talk through how you live in the space so we can plan for safety, dust control, and day-to-day disruptions.

  • Budget Range & Feasibility

Based on your goals and what we see onsite, we’ll confirm whether the project is feasible and provide a realistic budget range. If needed, we’ll offer options to bring the project into budget (scope adjustments, alternate materials, phased approach, etc.). This step is meant to prevent surprises and ensure we’re aligned before we spend time building a detailed scope.

  • Detailed Scope with Fixed-Price Proposal

Next, we develop a clear, written scope of work and a fixed-price proposal for the defined plan. You’ll see exactly what is included and what is excluded, so expectations are clear. If we uncover unknown conditions during construction (common in remodels), we’ll document them and address them through an approved change order before moving forward.

  • Selections + Preconstruction Meeting

Once you’re ready to proceed, we finalize key selections (finishes, fixtures, and other decision items) and confirm lead times. We then hold a preconstruction meeting to review the scope, schedule, site logistics, access, protection plans, and how communication will work. This is where we set the job up for a smooth build—no guessing, no assumptions.

  • Permitting & Scheduling

We coordinate required permits and inspections based on your jurisdiction and project type. Permit timelines vary by municipality, so we’ll keep you posted on status and start dates. Once permitting and long-lead materials are aligned, we lock in the construction schedule and confirm the sequence of work.

  • Build Phase

During construction, we manage subcontractors, inspections, material deliveries, and quality control. We keep the site organized and communicate progress, upcoming milestones, and any decisions needed from you. If changes are requested after work begins, we’ll price them clearly and proceed only after change order approval.

  • Closeout

Near completion, we do a final walkthrough and create a punch list to address any remaining items. Once the punch list is complete, we provide closeout documentation as applicable (warranty info, care/maintenance notes, and final details). Our goal is a clean finish, clear documentation, and a handoff you feel confident about.

How Communication Happens

How Communication Happens

Once your project is approved, all communication will run through our client portal. This keeps everything in one place—messages, documents, photos, schedules, selections, and change orders—so you always have a clear record of decisions and next steps. If something impacts scope, cost, or timeline, we’ll document it in the portal and get written approval before work proceeds.

Schedule a site visit to review your project and confirm next steps. If you have photos, sketches, measurements, inspiration images, or any notes, upload them here before we meet—this helps us prepare and keeps the visit focused. After the walkthrough, we’ll outline a clear scope, budget range, and timeline.
