Services
We provide practical residential construction solutions across the Kansas City area, from strategic renovations to additions, ADUs, and new home construction.
Remodels
-
Moore Property Services delivers fixed-price remodels with clear scope and clear communication. Whether you’re updating one space or renovating the full home, we focus on solid planning up front so the build phase runs smoothly.
What we do:
Common remodel scopes include kitchens, bathrooms, basements, main-floor reconfigurations, flooring/trim/paint updates, stair and railing upgrades, and whole-home refreshes. If your remodel impacts structure, utilities, or layout, we coordinate the right trades and engineering as needed. What to expect:
Most remodels follow the same sequence: initial call/site visit, budget and feasibility, detailed scope and fixed-price proposal, selections/preconstruction, then construction with scheduled trade coordination. Permitting is handled when required, and timelines vary by city review and material lead times.Selections and finishes:
We price a defined scope with a clear level of finish. If you want to upgrade materials or add scope, we document it and get written approval before work proceeds. No surprises, no “we’ll figure it out later” scope creep.Communication and documentation:
Once your project is approved, all project communication runs through our client portal. That keeps messages, photos, documents, selections, and change approvals in one place and prevents missed details. What we need from you:
If available, upload inspiration photos, a list of priorities, and any known constraints (budget target, schedule constraints, HOA rules, etc.). The more clarity we have early, the cleaner your scope and pricing will be.
Additions
-
An addition should feel like it was always part of the house. We manage additions with a fixed-price scope, disciplined scheduling, and coordination across design, permitting, trades, and inspections.
What we do:
Common additions include garages, master suites, bump-outs, sunrooms, mudrooms, expanded kitchens, second-story additions, and accessory spaces. We can also help evaluate ADU feasibility where zoning allows.Planning and feasibility:
Additions start with a site visit to confirm what’s possible: structure, rooflines, tie-ins, utility capacity, setbacks, drainage, and access. If drawings or engineering are required, we’ll outline what’s needed and coordinate the next steps.Permitting and scheduling:
Additions typically require permits and multiple inspections. We’ll plan around local review timelines and long-lead materials. Good additions take careful sequencing—demo, foundation, framing, weatherproofing, MEP tie-ins, insulation/drywall, finishes, then punch list and closeout.Scope control:
We build from a defined scope and finish level. Any cost or scope impact is documented and approved in writing before work proceeds.Communication and documentation:
Once approved, all communication runs through our client portal so your selections, plans, photos, change approvals, and schedule updates stay in one place.
New Construction
-
New construction is won or lost in the planning. We deliver organized preconstruction, a defined scope, and disciplined coordination so the build phase stays predictable.
What we do:
We focus on residential new construction, including build-to-suit homes, infill lots, and small-scale projects where quality and coordination matter. If you already have plans, we can review them for constructability and budget alignment before we finalize pricing.Preconstruction first:
Before we break ground, we confirm site conditions and logistics—survey needs, grading/drainage, utilities, access, and any special constraints. We also align on the finish level so pricing reflects real selections, not assumptions.Fixed-price scope:
Our proposals are fixed-price based on a clearly defined scope and finish level. If you change scope or upgrade selections after approval, we document it and get written approval before work proceeds.Permitting and inspections:
Permitting timelines vary by jurisdiction and workload. We coordinate submissions, required inspections, and trade sequencing to keep the project moving once permits are issued.Communication and documentation:
After approval, all project communication runs through our client portal. You’ll have one place for the schedule, messages, photos, documents, selections, invoices, and change approvals. What we need from you:
Upload your plans (if available), lot information, and any HOA or design requirements. If you’re early-stage, share your target size, style, budget range, and must-haves so we can confirm feasibility.
